Hey Ya’ll! Welcome to SavingFace!
Guess what, it’s that time of the month again! That’s right, it’s time for monthly favorites!
I like using this to define the under belly (that’s right underbelly) and tail of my brows. Kind of ghetto? Maybe, but it works well enough if you have really dark hair. However I have to make sure I pair it with a light colored powder or else I’ll be rockin’ the chola bitch brows.
Note: This is a cheap brown girl’s alternative to the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade or the MAC Fluidline brow gel creme.
I know it’s such an awkward name for a beautifully neutral shade of lipstick, but it just works well with every kind of look. It also works well with my skintone and the natural pigmentation of my lips. Even though I’m constantly trying new lip products, I always reach for Musk and MAC’s Syrup when I need a no brainer lip color that will go with anything. I do believe it comes in the mini duo that comes with Palomino.
Although I hate the packaging, I’m in love with the coverage, finish and staying power of this foundation!
C’est tout.

That’s all.
I’ve finally had a sip of the Prolongwear Koolaid and it’s f*ckin’ amazing! ~Excusez ma Franch~
This product is highly pigmented and is one of the only concealers that doesn’t crease around my under eye area. (The other one is from Inglot).
I was matched to the shade NW35 which is more or less a direct a match to my skintone so there isn’t much highlighting going on. I know, it’s kind of a bummer so I guess I’ll just have to pick up NW30 at some point to mix in.
I use it primarily under the eye to draw attention away from the dark circles, to conceal blemishes in addition to using it as an eye primer (because that’s what Jaclyn Hill does).
All that might seem like a waste especially considering it retails for $20, but since the product comes in a glass bottle with a pump (the worst packaging ever for a concealer) it distributes more product than is anyone person needs so you kind of have to be creative with how you make use of the excess product. It gets tricky though, especially if you do your eyes before you do your foundation (in that case you have to pump the concealer onto a separate surface to prime your eyes, and you’d have to wait until after you’ve applied foundation to do any concealing).
Note to MAC: How hard is it to put this shit in a tube?
This has been my go-to red lipstick for like a month and a half because it’s just gorgeous, it’s fierce and it makes me feel kind of badass, Like:
“B*tch, I look too good to be taking any sh*t from you today.
Step aside before you get trampled.”
Step aside before you get trampled.”
Yup, that’s pretty much how I feel when I wear it.
I bought this y recommendation by EmilyNoel83 of BeautyBroadcast. I realize it looks like a bright, trashy, bubblegum, pepto bismol color in the pan, which is why I was hesitant at first. but it’s only $3 and if I hate than oh well, c’est la vie. But I don’t.
It’s not super powdery or pigmented which is actually a good thing if you have a heavy hand. The formula in combination with the bright color makes it user friendly to the extent where you pick up just the right amount of product on your brush to create a natural flush.
Yumm.....
Did I mention it’s only $3?
